Many thanks for your very prompt communication.

I will look forward to dates & times for the meeting referenced & stand ready to particpate.

As to the portion of the Performance Obligation on Phase 6A, you are correct in that we are working with Kelly Rabalais & met this morning, including a review of the current posture of those issues.

Finally, & to bring you up to date as to the portion of the Performance Obligation on Phase 6B, we are exceedingly disappointed with the outcome of our meeting with Neil Hall & Kelly Rabalais. It was clearly an omission by the Engineering Department that resulted in the current street layout. Add to the injury the insult of being advised that there is no ordinance upon which to rely to force the developer to rectify his blatant disregard of responsibility. Marigny Trace Property Owners Association was greatly encouraged following the promise by President Davis, along with Bill Oiler, that what had occurred with the construction would be made right. We have now been told that the only way to achieve the appropriate outcome would be by way of Council appropriation of the necessary funds.

This is a mistake that should have been remedied long ago & now to be told that the promise was empty is a huge black eye on the credibility of those whom we thought we could trust & go to for help.

Sincere regards,

Lovelle

Mrs. Blitch,

Thank you for your kind words in support of President Davis and the Department of Engineering.  It was a pleasure meeting you at the President Davis’ HOA Meeting last Saturday.

Regarding the potential blockage in the Little Bayou Castine outlet behind Thrush Drive, a drainage inspector from the Department of Engineering will go out within the next several days to address this complaint.  I will let you know the results of the inspection and any recommended actions.

As a result of the Saturday meeting, the DoE plans to set up a meeting with the stakeholders impacted by the Woodlands Pond/Drainage Improvement area.  We are currently assembling a list of participants who have expressed interest in this project and will inform you of the time and place of the meeting.

As to the Marigny Trace S/D ditches in Phase 6A, I believe you are working with Kelly Rabalais on this.  I have cc’d her in this email and request that you correspond with her directly on this subject.

Regards,

deEtte

deEtte -

Many thanks for your attendance at today's meeting of Homeowner Presidents with our good Parish President Davis.

Following up on our brief discussion following said meeting, I stand ready to meet with you to review the ongoing drainage projects affecting Marigny Trace subdivision, including the clearing of the ditches in Phase 6A in line with the outstanding Performance Obligation, as well as the current posture & itinerary for completion of the Woodlands Drainage Project retention pond.

An additional issue with Marigny Trace drainage is the blockage in the Little Bayou Castine outlet behind Thrush Dr.

I will be at the Koop Drive complex on Monday, July 14, 2008 for an 8:30 a.m. meeting with Kelly Rabalais, Parish Executive Counsel, following which I will be briefly stopping by President Davis' office. I would be happy to stop by to see you at that point, if you are available. Feel free to reply by email &/or contact me on my cell phone at 985-264-6222.

Again, sincere thanks for your service to our wonderful Parish.
